black futon
I have an inexpensive futon from Target (less than 150.00) that my puppy tore the cushion cover. I need to replace the cover. The futon is in my home office and is black. Where can I find a cushion cover that won"t cost more than the futon. does someone have a web site? Or can someone recommend a reasonable store?
Why not measure the Futon and the depth of the Futon and go to the Linen Department at a big store and buy a cover for a duvet if it fits the depth of the Futon. It may work and is worth a try and if it doesn't you can always take it back.

sofa futon
We recently got a beautiful dark wood futon from freecycle but the mattress had to be thrown away because of pet smells. We have it in home office but needed extra sleep space for occasional visits from grown children. We went to a local furniture store and found out that they have new futon mattresses with springs built in. It is really thick and nice. It cost $200.00 . We have already had guests sleep on it and they said that it was extremely comfortable.

futons
I am looking into the Japanese style futons, and I was wondering what other people's experiences have been.
Are they comfortable, or are they too hard to sleep on? Where did you get yours?
Do any of the sellers allow you to return the futon if you don't like it, or try before you buy?
How long did it take you to adjust to it?
Some say that they are hypoallergenic. Can anyone confirm this? Did they prevent allergies while sleeping?
Thanks in advance!
I had one and within a very short time, it was about as soft as a pile of 4 or 5 blankets. I suppose it'd be better if you could fluff it up on a regular basis, but those things are damned heavy. They are easy to sleep on if you're used to sleeping on the floor. Returning a futon to the store is like returning a regular mattress. If it's been slept on, chances are they won't take it back. As far as hypoallernenic, I couldn't say, since I have no allergies.

I have two bage color swade fabric sofas and they are very dirty. They have stains from like everything. I would just get rid of them but my hubb dosent want to because they are so comfortable and they were really expensive and he feel bad to get rid of em. How can i clean them to make them look somewhat nice again.
Cornmeal.I have owned suede coats for years and the sleeves always get gunky. Go to the grocery store and buy a box of the cheapest cornmeal you can find, yellow or white, doesn't matter. Spread a towel under the part of the sofa you will be working on to keep the cornmeal from going everywhere and pour a handful of cornmeal on the sofa. Grind and scrub it into the suede with your hands or a DRY sponge, brushing it to one side to check your progress. Add more as needed until you finish the entire sofa. The cornmeal will bring up the nap, absorb grease and scrub dirt out of the nap. Once you have it clean vacuum with an apolstery brush to remove any cornmeal residue. It sounds weird but it works!

I love my Siamese cat, but twice a year she sheads many hair on the furniture, and even though she stays out most of the time, they look ugly. what is the best way to remove them?
Thxs in advance
some of these answers are good. but the best way to keep the hair levels down is to have your hubby brush the cats every day. OUTSIDE !!
