how to clean a futon?

its black and is starting to small

Small??? Smell you might say. Well there's one thing you can do….take it out side when it's really sunny find a spray bottler and mix some fabric softener and water and spray it all over that would help.

Futon frame construction-which is better?

I am looking to buy a full size futon sofa bed. Bifold is good and so as maple, ash and oak but what about construction.

Is tounge and groove or mortise and tenon construction better?

tounge and groove or mortise and tenon construction are both good. They are all glued together and the wood will break before the glue joint will ever break.

What curatins will look best with black leather sofas?

I am remodeling and i bought new Blak leather sofas,I want everything to look very sleek and modern, so what material or style of curtains should i buy? I want everything to be Black and cream color.

You just might be able to find some black curtains with cream accents. If they are curtains and not drapes, why not try a place that sales material and make your own curtains! If the window(s) aren't too big. Good luck.

What furniture goes best with a dark brown leather sofa.?

I'm not sure whether to get glass/steel tables and cabinets to match or if wood is better. If so what colour wood? Any advice appreciated.

I'd consider looking for a bamboo table to match up with the leather. Both are products of nature and you are able to find many differents shades of stain to set off your couches nicely.
