How comfortable can you make a futon?
Posted under futonsMy son wants a futon for his college apartment bedroom. It will serve as his bed and a place to hang out. I am worried it won't be comfortable enough for sleep. I saw a 6 inch memory foam mattress for futons. Does anyone know how comfortable they are or how well they hold up?
I slept on a futon for 4 years through college and I can tell you the mattress is KEY! If you do not skimp on a futon mattress, you can have a great place to hangout and to sleep. I paid about $250 for just my futon mattress, and it was great for the four years.
