I want to re-do my room, and I want to know if anyone has any cool features I can put into mine with reasonable price ranges. Does anyone know any stores that have good selection? I already have a desk, a dresser, a black futon, and of course a bed. I would like to get a lamp, a new bedspread, and a few shelves. Also, I would like the colors to be mainly black or blue, white works too. Any suggestions?
Hey i got good fashoin sence…lets see paint your room a blue (ordinarry blue) and put brown or bage stripes….that would look guy preppy…if ur a jock paint ur room with your favorate sport… if your a skater paint your favorate team like element or zero logo on it…if your goth them paint your room white and splat it with black every where…if ur regular than paint it a regular color blue and put your favorate thing or hobby on it…if u have any more questions ask me at my email glitterprincess96@yahoo.com

black futon
Right now my room is pretty plane. It’s square and everything is blue and I’m sick of it!
I have a nice light coloured hard wood floor right now, and I’ll be keeping that.
I’m thinking my main colours will be black, white, and red.
Red for three walls,
Black on one wall,
one wall black,
and the celling white.
On the black wall would be a black futon.
On the left side would be a tall black book-shelf to place my hats and belt buckles.
Next
The (red) wall in-front of the futon will have the black TV stand.
Next too it on the left would be my black computer desk.
In the middle of the floor would be a black or white mat.
The window frame and door would be white.
The closet doors would be flat with no design. Instead, there would be A kind of two zig zag design one on-top of the other, the top one red and he bottom one black. Also they would be about 10cm thick. (background is white). And some stainless steel door handles.
Also I have some basketball poster i could put up.
What do you think?
Also, should i switch the position of of te colours?
P.S-
I’m a teen guys.
Red & black are tough colors for painting walls (they require a few coats to look solid) & it might look mighty dark in there. Off-white or a light-warm-grey might be other options for the walls and using the red & black as highlight colors. You can frame & matte your basketball pics with black frames. Ikea has some neat locker-type pieces that i believe come in red that would look cool. Framed black & white pics would go well on the walls too. Good luck

i was dusting my mom's new futon and i sprayed pledge on a paper towel and dusted the arm with the paper towel. when a i lifted the paper towel it had a orangey color on it. and when i looked at the arm, i noticed a black streak across it. and the pledge isnt drying/evaporating. what should i do?!?!? is there a way to get rid of the streak?
the brand is actually Behold, not Pledge,
Most of today's so called wood is actually composite, and treated with an acrylic based sealer. If it is wood then the sealer may just be an acrylic stain and or polymer based. All in which is water based! You should read on the can what to use and not use with the product. Try a 409 type product to get rid of the black stain.

I am redoing my room. Age 15 female. I am wanting to do a rich purple wall color (Dutchboy Regal Dream) with green, like a muted lime, accents. I plan to have 6 silver frames above my futon. 3 will be pictures of my pets and 3 will be mirrors. In a checkerboard design. 2 high 3 wide. I want to know if I should use sepia or black and white pictures.
I think the black and white would go better with the sophisticated theme. Plus my furniture will be black.
Black and white will look clean and cool against the purple. Sepia will be too muted. I think in the silver frames, the black and white will look good but the sepia would contrast a bit.
Good luck with your project.
