Or any place in the Midwestern US even!
Not looking for typical American futons that you can find everywhere, but the thin Japanese "bed roll" ones.
Right on futon, Division and Ashland basically in wicker park

I live in the U.S. and I was wondering where I could buy a japanese-style futon. I would do a search, but I know that all that would turn up is the couchy things that westerners call futons. So does anyone know?
I found some at dukaru.homestead.com but they're so expensive! When I was in Japan they sold whole futon sets for about 10,000 yen. (90~100 USD)
craigslist.org
select your city and I am sure you will find at least one futon

we just bought a 1995 32 ft corsica cobra travel trailer. and well we got it cheap so we're redoing the whole inside. and we're needing to find a slip cover for a futon/couch. it looks like an actual couch but its slips into a bed (like a futon) it isnt like most futons, it has couch arms to it with fabric, we're having a hard time finding a cover that has arms also and can slide into a futon. if anybody knows were we can find something like this please let me know we need one this week. thanks

my daughter has a bunk bed, the bottom bunk is a full sized futon. I cant find sheets that fit it. i bought regular full sized sheets but they are too short. Do they make special sheets for futons? And where can I find them?

I live in Japan and most people just hang there futons outside for a few hours and then bring them in.
They never use soap or water or anything.
Is there a better way to clean them?
thanks
You forgot about the smacking. You see them smacking the futons to help shake out the dust. Japan is humid and you need to take your futon out of the house now and then for some good sunshine. You don't sleep directly on the futon. It's like a bed mattress and I've never met anyone who cleaned their bed mattress. Wash your bedding instead. Just like mattresses, eventually you have to change futons.
