microfiber futon
I have a microfiber cover on my futon…can I put it in the washing machine? I'm afraid to ruin it, but it needs to be washed.
Yes you can wash it, its ussually better not to put it in the dryer though

Chenille or Microfiber as far as quality… the microfiber is more as far as cost does this mean it is better? The chenille i would have to dry clean. My main concern is i want a material that is not going to colllect cat hair…okay well they are ALL going to collect cat hair, but i want one that is not going to SHOW it so much and i can dig at it you know… i want a "tough" material at a reasonable price. Right now i am looking at 'The Futon Shop' on line.
palerider,
although i appreciate you taking a look, you still didn't answer my question. I already know i can contact them and ask and naturally they are going to "sell" me a product, no matter the quality.
lilian: explain TOUGH cotton. and "canvas" futons?? C'mon now.

microfiber futon
AH! we just bought a futon like 2 days ago with a micro fiber suede matress, and i just got bright green oil paint on it!! HELP!
The same thing happened to me. I had a product called kiss- off, it's a stain remover that comes in a bar. It took it all off and left the sofa in a perfect condition.
Good Luck!
