I have beige colored faux leather sofas. There are some dirty spots on it from normal usage. I want them to look new and shiny - what’s the best cleaning method for such sofas? Is there any particular product that works best? Thanks!
The best product is mild detergent like washing up liquid and warm water, when dried buff with furniture polish.I do this to my leather sofas and they come up lovely.

The floors will be either ash-white marble or white-brown marble. The walls are white with a tinge of barley. The sofas are beige and red. I have both red and coffee brown/beige carpets that I alternate. Stumped as to floral, stripes, checks, lacy or what. No clue as to color either.
what about something dramatic. match the red of the sofa. you could either go for a heavy look in a thick fabric like velvet or jacquard, or keep it lighter in a cotton or sheer organza.

I have seen a (utah) sofa in Habitat that I really like but wondering whether I should hold on till the Christmas sale. Does anyone remember from previous years what the typical percentage is that they might reduce a sofa by? Do they put most of their stock in the sale or only lines that they are discontinuing?
I remember that the adverts showed some fairly big percentage rates so I would wait for the Christams sale.

I have a 3 seater couch and a Loveseat. They're both medium dark tan. I did not spill anything on it to stain it. Like the edges of the sofa cusions and arm rests are too dark and smooth other then being soft. The sofas are also darker then how they use to look. I vaccuum them once a month and whipe out whatever might of spilled on it. I don't know how to explain it. Is it wera and tear? I know I can clean them to being back to soft and one solid nice tan color. I rather do it then haveing to pay someone else to do it. PLEASE HELP ANY WAY YOU CAN. THANK YOU…
Resolve works great and woolite for sofas is another good one

I want to know how high your end table needs to be in relation to your sofa. Also what are the appropriate heights for the coffee table and console table in relation to the sofa height. I know it has something to do with the seat height and the arm height. THanks!
You want your end table to be slightly below the arm of your sofa. If it's higher it can cause some problems. For instance, you don't want to set a drink on the end table and have it tip over only to spill all of the contents right over the arm and into the cushions.
And you definitely don't want it so low that you can't reach it from a sitting position. You don't want to have to lean over the sofa arm just to reach your coffee or latest issue of EGM.
Also take into consideration the light from the lamp on your end table. You don't want the table so low or so hight that you can see the bare bulb.
So you want your end table to be a comfortable height. A height that allows easy access but won't allow for disaster increase (such as a spilling liquid). And a height that will prevent temporary blindness from a bright, lamp bulb.
