I am looking for modern sofas but so far, no good: Whether too expensive (for my budget of $1000-1500 including delivery) or too… well… cheap looking.
Hi, Kelli and Lucky. And thank you for the feedback. I too had the feeling that I may not find what I want for less than 1500-2000…
Looks like E-BAY`-Little frenchie`? mon mermaid`?

I prefer a website or links for 2nd hand sofas or other furnitures. I hate looking at newspapers, they usually dont have pictures so you have no clue what they look like. I really wanna get rid of my old sofa and cabinet.
Thanks and 10 points to the best answer.

We have 6 month old custom furniture still under warranty from The Sofas and Chairs Store in Omaha, NE. Two pieces need repair. I've called, but never get a live person, always get their voice mail system. I've left a message but no one has called back. I would like to contact the owner to ask for help/voice my complaint.
Mr. Mark VanArsdel, President - (402) 390-0112
Home address -
9911 DEVONSHIRE DR
OMAHA, NE 68114
His home phone is unlisted… Sorry. You could try looking up one of these two instead:
Ms. Teresa Wackel - Sales
Mr. Dick Massey - Store Manager
Good luck.

I have read reports about chemicals in leather furniture causing blisters and rashes. Some were from Argos and some from Land of Leather and these have been withdrawn. Has anyone any knowledge or experience of similar problems with leather sofas from Harveys?
Thanks.
Thanks podge, best info so far.
I have bought two leather settees from Harveys about a year back.
I have suffered no similar problem with them.
Really satisfied with them.
Checked out their website which gives countries their products are made in. No mention of China.

www.finn.no without a doubt!
You can find anything on there. "Torget" is where you want to start looking. Type Sofa in the search field and limit your search by area in the menu on the side.

It's probably best if you get someone who understands norwegian to help you if you don't.

We are planning to move from our rented apartment, to move into our new house., however out cat has savaged 2 sofas in the furnished apartment, i believe that this will be sufficient reason for the state agent to keep my £1000 deposit.
Do you think it will be okay for me to take the sofas to my new house, and leave the deposit with the state agents? is there anything they can do to prevent me for doing this?
Unless you have their permission to remove the sofas, it's called stealing, and one doesn't have to live in the UK to know that.
