I had a See N Say game when I was a child that featured a number of different types of furniture. I know it had a loveseat and possibly a porch swing, but it was all sofas and chairs. Does anyone remember this or know what it was called? I was a child in the early 80s so that's when it would be from.

We're in a rented house and my cat won't stop scratching the sofas! She has also opted to rip the wallpaper, making a huge problem for us! Does anyone have any ideas as to how we can stop her?
One thing is absolutely certain. You will never stop a cat from scratching but you can divert his claws from your sofa, furnishings or carpet to something more appropriate. It is relatively easy to stop your cat scratching your furniture. First you must buy or make him a scratching post.Whenever you see your cat scratching the furniture tell him NO… or AH-AH in a firm voice, then gently pick him up and take him to the scratching post. Do this is a very gentle way so as not to scare him. Place his paws on the scratching post and simulate scratching. Praise him and tell him 'Good Kitty' and stroke him to make it an enjoyable pleasant experience. You will have to be diligent at first and try to catch him in the act of scratching your furniture. Never punish him for scratching inappropriately but praise him well when he does the right thing. It's all about reward and pleasant experiences.
Good Luck!

I know that all new sofas need to have a display stick to show that it is fire resistant. However somebody has told me you need a permanent sticker attached to the body of the sofa. Is this the case or is the display sticker enough?
Sofas & even mattresses have to have this notice since 1996 but it can be removed & should be kept, possibly with guarantee,or you can never sell it on or even donate to charity without this label being shown & given to new owner.I think is is known as a green label

my sofas need to be dry cleaned and i need to find out what is the best product to use on it …i want to do it myself
The stores sell a dry cleaning kit-I think it is called Dryell, in the laundry section. I would steam clean myself then after it is dry apply a good coating of Scotchguard. Also available to do it yourself.

Hi
Where can I buy two leather sofas (one two seater and one three seater) with very short delivery time? All the big shops like DFS, Reid etc are quoting around 14-16 weeks wait
MBG
Was really looking to try the sofas out before buying. I find that the difference in comfort and quality can only really be seen /felt rather than online. So a shop would be preferable rather than online
Try Ikea - they hold 2 and 3 seaters in stock and you generally get a good guarantee on their products. John Lewis also have some of their sofas for delivery within 7 days of your order. Some of the sofas at places like DFS or Furniture Village have a short waiting period as they hold them in stock but I have had bad experiences with both companies and would not recommend them.

When sofas come in two sections, they are called love seats, and when they come in more than three sections, they are called sectionals, but the sections are separate pieces. Why aren't there sofas that come in four sections, for example?
There are four and even five section couches though these days you would probably have to special order them. The three section couch became popular because it was a middle ground. Not to big for most rooms, and easier to move, it was more versatile. Today it has become an industry standard for those very reasons.
